Job Scope
The Maintenance Tech Level III maintains safety, quality, and production by ensuring operation of facility and machinery & mechanical equipment. Job duties will included but not limited to hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, automation, &/or fabrication. Maintain Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity on a daily basis. Actively participate in 5S program by achieving and consistently maintaining 3S in personal work area.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions to ensure machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as needed. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using measurement equipment.
Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
Repair or replace defective equipment and/or parts, using hand tools, power tools, and reassemble equipment.
Use tools ranging from common hand/power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Must be able to work a 12 hour rotating schedule nights.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
Must possess knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
Must have basic computer knowledge
Must have at least 3 years of manufacturing experience
Hydraulic, electrical, & mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting abilities and problem solving skills are preferred
Maintain integrity of all IATF16949, ISO13485, ISO9001, and ISO14001 quality standards
