The Team
Join our team as a Development Manager and contribute to the design and creation of world-class software. You will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of solutions that operate in all facets of A&M Tax: from internal tools that improve efficiencies to client-facing enterprise systems.
This position will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle: documentation, development, testing, debugging, and support. You will have opportunities to mentor developers by providing guidance and knowledge sharing to help them grow and improve their skills.
How You Will Contribute
Lead and manage a team of professionals including software developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to drive the design and development of software.
Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to identify and define business problems and requirements.
Architect elegant and scalable solutions that leverage the latest technologies and best practices.
Take a hands-on approach to developing efficient and maintainable code bases.
Test your work to ensure high standards of quality.
Mentor junior and senior developers.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, management of information systems, or information technology and accounting A master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
A practical approach to building software.
7+ years of experience working with
Microsoft .NET, C#, and object-oriented principles
Relational databases like MSSQL or PostgreSQL
Web API development, testing, and deployment
Azure hosting and utilizing common services
3+ years
Front end technologies like React and JavaScript/TypeScript
Leading software development teams
Designing and architecting Systems
Deploying and implementing solutions
Strong problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial approach to work.
Excellent communication and business writing skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Tax knowledge and related experience is a plus.
Partnership tiering and allocation, Asset Wealth Management, or Private Equity is a plus

The salary range is $110,000 - $140,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
