What You Get To Do
As a Park Operations Manager, you will manage day to day operation of all assigned areas within the Operations Department. You will be accountable for guest/ambassador safety, quality of assigned areas, guest satisfaction, labor/expense budgets, scheduling, ambassador management and other assigned responsibilities. You will be responsible for training, development, and counseling of assigned ambassadors. You will also develop and execute plans to achieve established objectives and goals.
What It Takes To Succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Management, or equivalent experience in a Leadership role.
Preferred (3) years of Supervisory/ Leadership Experience in a theme park or similar environment.
Proficient in Microsoft software products. Knowledge of SEA systems (SAP, ParkWare, FOES, etc) preferred.
Possess a broad understanding of business principles and applications.
Possess customer service skills including the ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints from ambassadors and/or guests.
Possess the ability to calculate financial metrics and amounts such as discounts, proportions, and percentages.
Demonstrated initiative, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; Confident and outgoing presence with the ability to professional interact with various levels of ambassadors and leadership.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects with a detailed oriented style and strict deadlines.
Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
What Else Is Important
Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights.
Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and cold/heat temperature extremes.
Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
Work a flexible schedule/hour based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
Perform all other duties as Assigned
