A Day in the Life at MKS:
As a Mechanical Engineer at MKS Broomfield, you will partner with manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and customers to develop and support vacuum isolation valves, fittings, specialized mechanical systems, and heater systems products.
You Will Make an Impact By:
Salary Pay Range: $70,000 to $100,000 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].

As a Mechanical Engineer at MKS Broomfield, you will partner with manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and customers to develop and support vacuum isolation valves, fittings, specialized mechanical systems, and heater systems products.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Working on a team of product design engineers focused on vacuum isolation valves and customized mechanical and heating products for applications in multiple industries.
- Designing, estimating, & quoting of new designs using machined, welded, and functional components.
- Working directly with customers to solve difficult problems.
- Working with engineering to update documentation in support of improved product line efficiencies and revenue.
- Working closely with manufacturing in the US, Mexico, and Asia during the product development, launch, and volume production phases.
- Participating in the product development lifecycle, from idea generation and concept validation to design, prototyping, testing, and final production.
- Ensuring products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements through testing and validation.
- Travel Requirements: Up to 10% of Travel is required.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
- 2 or more years of relevant work experience.
- Technical experience in product development and manufacturing.
- Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with semiconductor capital equipment, system, or modules.
- Experience working with vacuum systems and/or related technology.
