Base pay range

$165,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in our skilled nursing facility setting. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications.

Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations of patients, including ordering and interpreting lab tests and imaging studies
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical histories
  • Order and manage medications, including IV insertion and administration
  • Provide patient education and counseling on health and wellness, disease prevention, and treatment options
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documenting patient interactions and test results
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Utilize electronic health records to document patient information and manage patient care
  • Demonstrate aseptic technique and follow proper infection control protocols
  • Provide care in an ICU setting as needed
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering excellent patient care.


Requirements:

  • Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of
  • Master's degree in nursing or a related field
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP-C)
  • Experience working with patients with a variety of medical conditions
  • Proficiency in ICD-9 coding
  • Strong clinical skills, with the ability to diagnose and treat a range of illnesses and conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
