Description

HyerTek is a fast-growing government IT firm with several innovative product offerings set to launch in Q4 2025. We are seeking a highly organized Operations Manager to support our executive team and help streamline core operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment where attention to detail, coordination, and follow-through make a direct impact.

The right candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities across core operations, business development, HR, vendor management, and compliance support. This role requires strong skills in Microsoft 365 (Excel, SharePoint, Teams) and excellent organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the executive team members' calendars, coordinate meetings, track deadlines, and prepare agendas with action items
  • Evaluate and organize bid opportunities from GovTribe, HigherGov, eBuy, Seaport NXG, and other government platforms
  • Support proposal compliance reviews, formatting, and coordination with internal/external partners
  • Assist with HR administration, including onboarding/offboarding, training records, and timesheet tracking
  • Maintain vendor and supplier directories, contracts, and performance records
  • Support ISO, CMMI, and CMMC compliance activities by organizing documentation, training logs, and audit evidence
  • Maintain SharePoint, CRM, and ERP data hygiene to ensure records are accurate and accessible

Requirements

Executive Support & Scheduling

  • Manage executive team calendars, coordinate meetings, arrange travel, and track deadlines.
  • Prepare agendas, capture meeting notes, and follow up on action items.

Bid & Proposal Coordination

  • Monitor and evaluate opportunities in SAM.gov, GovWin, and HigherGov.
  • Maintain a bid calendar with deadlines, requirements, and team assignments.
  • Support proposal compliance checklists, formatting, and submission organization.

HR & Finance Administration

  • Support onboarding and offboarding for employees and contractors.
  • Maintain training and compliance records (ethics, security, anti-bribery).
  • Coordinate timesheet collection and assist with payroll documentation.
  • Manage expense reports

Vendor & Supplier Management

  • Maintain vendor/supplier directories, contracts, and renewal schedules.
  • Track vendor performance metrics and ensure documentation is current.
  • Support procurement activities such as collecting quotes and onboarding vendors.

Compliance Documentation Support

  • Maintain ISO, CMMI, and CMMC documentation libraries in SharePoint.
  • Track training logs, policy review schedules, and audit evidence artifacts.
  • Prepare documentation for auditors and consultants as requested.

Knowledge Management & Reporting

  • Maintain SharePoint/CRM/ERP hygiene to ensure accurate records.
  • Compile reports on bid pipeline, staffing utilization, and vendor spend.
  • Organize product feedback and feature requests for leadership review.

  • Dependable under pressure: Trusted to handle sensitive information, remain calm in high-stakes environments, and consistently follow through.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary: $70,000 - $80,000 based on a combination of skills and relevant experience.

Location: HyerTek is headquartered in Rockville, MD. The candidate must be based in the Washington, DC area and willing to come into the office up to three days per week.
