Job Title: Senior Functional Analyst

Location: Washington, DC (HYBRID)

Job Description:

Highly skilled and experienced Functional Analyst to provide critical production support and functional expertise for our payroll and timekeeping systems, with a specific focus on our UKG (Metrotime/UKG Pro Workforce Management) environment. This role is essential to ensure the Kronos application captures time accurately, has the proper application of complex pay rules, and seamless integration with our core payroll processing. The Functional Analyst will serve as a primary point of contact for end-user issues, system configuration, troubleshooting, and minor enhancements related to UKG/Kronos, working closely with Payroll, HR, Operations, and IT teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily functional support to end users in Payroll department across Kronos time keeping and Peoplesoft Payroll module.
  • Lead and support the configuration, testing, and implementation of changes in Kronos time keeping and Peoplesoft Payroll module.
  • Assist in Payroll production close processes, including:
  • Running and analyzing time interfaces from Kronos
  • Supporting the generation and distribution of payroll analytical reports.
  • Involve in UKG Pro Workforce Management support and implementation.
  • Develop and execute complex ad-hoc queries using reporting tool to support transactional and payroll data analysis for business users.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve system and interface issues and ensure integration points function as expected.
  • Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in the documentation of business processes, configurations, and system modifications.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and end-user training sessions.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience supporting end users in payroll department.
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting multiple Kronos Time Keeping
  • Strong knowledge of time keeping principles and experience with payroll data analysis.
  • Extensive experience with creating and managing complex analytical reports.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Kronos employee time and leave issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, or related field.
  • Experience with Kronos WFC 8 and UKG Pro Workforce Management
  • Familiarity with integration tools and reporting tools


Preferred Skills:

  • Progression in CFA or other finance professional certifications.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft 9.1 and Oracle cloud
  • Familiarity with integration tools and reporting tools
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft Project Costing module.
