Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director to oversee and manage payroll operations for a large-scale, multi-state workforce. This role requires someone with a strong background in payroll processing and compliance to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all payroll activities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be proficient in Workday systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage full-cycle payroll operations for a multi-state workforce, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

• Oversee bi-monthly payroll for over 4000 employees, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Utilize Workday ERP systems to streamline payroll processes and optimize efficiency.

• Ensure proper handling of payroll adjustments, tax filings, and year-end reporting.

• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to align payroll processes with organizational objectives.

• Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.

• Monitor payroll trends and implement improvements to enhance accuracy and productivity.

• Maintain detailed records and documentation to support audits and compliance requirements.

• Train and mentor payroll staff to ensure consistent performance and adherence to best practices.

• Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing full-cycle payroll operations.

• Proven expertise in multi-state payroll processing and compliance.

• Proficiency in Workday systems, including Workday Payroll, Financial Management, and HCM.

• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws at the federal, state, and local levels.

• Experience handling payroll for large organizations with over 4000 employees.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in payroll calculations and reporting.
