Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) Analyst

Terms of Employment:

• Contract, 18 Months (Possible Extension)
• This position is 100% remote. Candidates should be based in Eastern or Central time zones.

Overview:

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will join the PBM Operations team at a leading healthcare firm. This is a crucial role for a skilled professional who can manage day-to-day PBM operations while supporting a key implementation project. You will work closely with two different teams, focusing on eligibility and integrated accumulators data exchange. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your healthcare and PBM expertise in a long-term, fully remote capacity.

You will…

• Support day-to-day PBM operations.
• Review error reports and work on resolutions.
• Manage and support control reports and monitoring.
• Gather requirements and perform standard business analyst duties, including creating user cases and as-is/to-be documentation.
• Support a PBM implementation project.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of seven years of business analyst experience in a healthcare setting.
• Two to three years of direct PBM experience.
• Strong experience with Facets, including either on-premise or cloud versions.
• Hands-on experience with integrated accumulators and eligibility processes.
• Hands-on experience with Jira.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with NASCO.
• Previous PBM implementation project experience.
• Experience with SQL, as it will be helpful for supporting operational reports.
