Position Description: TechPride seeks an experienced Project Manager to support the United States Coast Guard (USCG) by leading cross-functional projects that improve logistics, manpower, budgeting, and incident response capabilities across operational assets. The ideal candidate brings a balanced mix of business operations acumen, organizational change management experience, and stakeholder engagement expertise. This role will have a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week onsite at the US Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, DC.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership of project workstreams and ensure alignment with program goals and USCG mission requirements.
  • Lead the planning, integration, and execution of support initiatives, including logistics enhancements and process improvement efforts.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation such as project schedules, risk management plans, communications plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Facilitate governance meetings, program management reviews, data calls, and stakeholder working sessions.
  • Coordinate activities and information sharing using collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, MS Planner, and MS Project.
  • Analyze operational performance data to identify areas of concern, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, briefings, and updates to government stakeholders.


Requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant project management experience (USCG experience preferred).
  • Ability to execute projects in both an Agile and Waterfall environment.
  • Ability to direct data analysis efforts to identify data trends and critical findings associated with help desk data.
  • Ability to shape business development opportunities and to guide potential clients towards corporate objectives.
  • Direct client management and interaction within the government sector that has multiple service leads/points-of-contact, operating against multiple strategic business objectives, in a complex environment.
  • Experience and comfort level communicating in emails, by phone, in writing and in person with senior executive leadership within the federal government.
  • Technical writing/editorial experience.
  • Fluency with project management tools and methodologies.
  • PMP certification desired but not required.
  • Public Trust and US Citizenship will be required.
