About This Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented, solution-focused professional with strong analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have the ability to interpret and clearly explain policy and procedures across various service areas, including Intake, Child Protective Services, Ongoing, Foster Care, Adult Services, and Adult Protective Services.
This role requires someone who can identify key performance indicators, coach staff on performance improvement, and guide the teams toward achieving optimal outcomes. As a leader, you’ll manage other like-minded quality assurance professionals working to bring service-related programs into compliance and be well prepared to meet future community needs.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum of two years of appropriate and related experience in a Human Services area
Preferences
10 or more years of experience with APS, CPS, and Foster Care
2 years or more of quality assurance experience and supervising a team
Experience with teaching or training large groups of staff
5 years or more years of experience entering information into OASIS and PeerPlace
Special Requirements
All DSS staff are required to provide emergency human services work, including staffing emergency shelters in the event of a community disaster.
Candidates must pass criminal history, child protective services, and DMV background checks.
Resource/foster parents for youth in the Prince William foster care program may not be employed by the Prince William Department of Social Services. Resource/foster parents for youth from other localities are welcome to apply.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive for work.
Work Schedule
37.5 hours a week. Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Possible after-hours work for emergencies or special assignments. After the first 90 days of in-person training, this role offers the potential for a hybrid work arrangement, combining opportunities for teleworking with required days in the office.
Hiring Salary Range
$98,475.00 to $128,017.50
