Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets and maximize revenue.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Sales Reporting: Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for upper management. Utilize data to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies.
- Budget Management: Manage the sales budget for the region, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize ROI.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and support to sales staff to enhance their skills and knowledge of products and services.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Skills:
- Leadership: Ability to inspire and motivate a team. Experience in coaching and developing sales staff.
- Sales Expertise: Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Travel: Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed
