Schedule: Full Time 30 hours, 3rd shift Sunday through Wednesday 10p-8a
Are you an individual who wants to make an impact on the lives of others? The Connection is opening a NEW Residential Programthat will support women with mental health needs who are transitioning to the community after a period of incarceration.
Position Summary
This Residential Aide will utilize a strengths-based & client-centered approach, providing structure and supervision to justice-involved women as they re-enter the community.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in recovery and/or those who are justice-involved or have a customer service background and be highly motivated to help others make positive change.
An ability to be both structured and compassionate while maintaining professional and respectful boundaries is required.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience
Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
Orientation
If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
