We're seeking a professional with strong expertise in access reviews, controls, and governance oversight to help design and implement a comprehensive 2nd line monitoring framework for application access across a portfolio. This role requires both deep process knowledge and the ability to create clear documentation to support audit and internal control functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Application & Access Inventory:
Collect inventory of in-scope applications and their owners.
Understand current access review processes through interviews and documentation reviews.
Categorize applications by access type (e.g., privileged, SharePoint, password-based) and technology (manual vs. Saviynt-based).
Process Design & Documentation:
Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process flows, and RACI matrices.
Develop templates, instructions, QA checklists, and KPI reporting tools for access reviews.
Prepare onboarding requirements and test scripts for Saviynt.
Training & Implementation:
Conduct workshops for first-line reviewers and second-line monitoring teams.
Pilot the new access review process and prepare audit-ready evidence packages.
Support internal audit remediation through documentation and expert input.
Governance & Oversight:
Draft governance materials, including a program charter, reporting model, delivery structure, and risk assessments.
Create a 12-month access review schedule with full 2nd line oversight.
Develop a roadmap for implementation, stabilization, and optimization.
Ideal Candidate:
Strong knowledge of access reviews and ability to quality check review outcomes.
Skilled in writing clear, structured process documentation.
Familiarity with second-line risk oversight, internal controls, and audit support.
Experience in Insurance or Financial Services industries is preferred.
*** Pay Rate- $70-$82/hour
