The firm was established to identify and capitalize on acquisitions of high-quality data centers across the globe. Cloud Capital acquires, manages, develops, and operates data centers to become the long-term owner and operator of choice for tenants globally.

What The Role Entails

The Senior Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager and will maintain the books and records of our funds and management advisor entities. This person will also review the accounting close for our investment properties to ensure accurate asset-level reporting.

What You Will Do

· Maintain the accounting books and records of our fund entities in Yardi. Record all contributions, distributions, and fund expenses through the proper fund entity structures.

· Track fund expenses and ensure proper recharges to the various fund vehicles.

· Perform account variance analyses and reconciliations.

· Review work from our third-party fund administrator and property management teams.

· Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements, including workpaper packages and lender reports.

· Ensure accurate financial reporting to management, lenders, and investors while monitoring REIT compliance.

· Perform monthly tasks such as bank reconciliations, journal entries, and inter-company transaction reconciliation.

· Review invoices for proper coding and prepare for payment.

· Compile financial data for audits and assist with KYC requests.

· Manage various accounting projects as needed.

What You Bring to the Role

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

· Current CPA

· 5+ years of experience in public/corporate accounting, REIT, real estate, or a private equity fund.

· Strong knowledge of US GAAP

· Must be highly process-oriented and have experience with organizational control environments.

· Strong business acumen with the ability to solve problems using analysis, technical and organizational expertise.

· Exceptional attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and a strong sense of urgency.

· Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Also Possess

· Proficiency in Yardi or another major ERP/GL system.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
