Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant. This role is responsible for managing complex accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with GAAP, preparing financial reports, and supporting audits. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Support external audits and tax filings.
• Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Monitor and report on financial performance and variances.
• Lead or support special projects and process improvements.
• Mentor junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
