Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant role offers a blend of technical accounting, financial reporting, and process optimization, ideal for seasoned professionals looking to advance their careers in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
• Cost Accounting: Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and overhead allocation to enhance profitability.
• ERP System Expertise: Manage and utilize ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) for accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting processes.
• Budgets & Forecasts: Collaborate with operational teams to develop budgets and conduct variance analyses.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls and assist with external audit preparations, including compliance reporting.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to streamline accounting processes and boost operational efficiencies.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior staff accountants and assist in their professional development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' of professional accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
• CPA a plus
