Primary Purpose
The Senior Financial Analyst will focus on supporting the Commercial Business Development team in tracking all new RFPs. This includes entering the new opportunities into the CRM as well as making weekly updates to track the RFPs and provide status updates throughout the process. The Senior Financial Analyst will meet, at a minimum, weekly, with the BD team to obtain updates to inform on the probability of a win, the timing of the decision, as well as, how the scope and price are evolving. A weekly reporting pack will be required and distributed to the executives with a draft view of the pipeline revenue forecast.

Primary Purpose

Responsibilities
- Attends and participates in all calls regarding pipeline opportunities and modifications
- Establish process for weekly updates from BD and entering updates to probability and status/commentary in the CRM
- Tracking of all contract modifications and partnering with operations on updates needed in the CRM or with the Commercial Finance team
- Creating and updating the draft pipeline revenue forecast
- Works closely with the Head of Strategy and Operations on reporting needs for the Executives and Board
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in a job-related area or equivalent relevant academic or vocational qualification
- MBA and CPA preferred
- 5 years of relevant working experience in Finance/Accounting to include global Biopharma CRO industry experience in an Operations Finance role.
- Proven ability to communicate well with all levels of management; must be effective in converting data into useful information and communicating that information through concise commentary.
- Collaborative working style, ability to foster effective working relationships and build trust across a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed, challenging environment with strong attention to detail
- Project leadership and consultancy skills with ability to function as an effective and respected partner to internal clients
- Ability to apply advanced knowledge, skills, and expertise to analysis
- Good business acumen with ability to understand complex organizational structures and environments
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Advanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data
