$160,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Who are we looking for?
Pacific Defense is seeking strong, enthusiastic candidates for the position of Senior Manager, Business Development to join our team. In this role, you will work with a small team of highly motivated professionals to transition cutting-edge MOSA products and technologies to real-world programs and systems. Your work will help bridge the Pacific Defense core team to new customers, markets, and missions across the Science & Technology (S&T) community. You'll help Pacific Defense deliver world-class open architecture solutions for research and development programs to address the Government's most challenging problems.
Requirements
Cultivate, maintain and support strategic relationships with relevant S&T leaders and program managers across the DoD
Align S&T organizations' investment and to Pacific Defense's technical strategy and build programs to seed robust technology development
Grow S&T portfolio into world class capability, enabling the delivery of cutting-edge capability
Ramp up research as a service product line to strengthen existing portfolio
Develop a deep understanding of S&T organizations' plans, programs, budgets, and priorities related to the implementation of mission capabilities that are well aligned with and suited for Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) implementation, particularly CMOSS and SOSA.
Work with technical staff members from all disciplines in concept formulation and marketing, balance multiple tasks, and coordinate with multiple business functions on proposal preparation and submissions
Development and maturation of contact plans with customer organizations and influencers to develop new and expanded business opportunities.
Preferred Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of experience soliciting investment from S&T organizations or experience funding S&T projects across industry
Strong ties with DARPA, ONR, U.S. Air Army, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy centers, OSD R&E, and other related S&T organizations.
Strong technical background and understanding of emerging technologies
Working knowledge of threats, challenges, mission systems and technologies as it relates to command, control, communications, and electronic warfare and cyber.
Strong business and financial acumen
Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong capture management skills including white paper and proposal development
Ability to travel
Must be US citizen
