Position Summary

Slalom is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent and People Experience, to help shape and scale modern, human-centered talent management practices across our global organization. Sitting within our Talent and People Experience team, this leader will bring strong judgment, adaptability, and a track record of delivering talent solutions that scale across teams and geographies.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role that blends strategy, systems thinking, and execution. The ideal candidate will bring an understanding of various talent areas like career growth frameworks, development, succession planning, and performance, and the ability to flex across design, stakeholder engagement, and implementation.

What You’ll Do

Career Growth, Development Enablement & Job Architecture

  • Contribute to the design and refinements of Slalom’s career frameworks and job architecture — enabling consistent, transparent role definitions, leveling, and progression criteria across functions.
  • Help operationalize multidimensional growth pathways that reflect varied career experiences — including lateral movement, skill mastery, leadership development, and community contribution.
  • Partner with Compensation and other teams to ensure the job architecture supports internal mobility, talent transparency, and equitable access to advancement.
  • Use performance insights to inform how we evolve career frameworks over time — aligning with business needs, workforce trends, and employee aspirations.

Talent Strategy & Integration

  • Partner across Talent, DEI, Learning, and Analytics to align performance and development practices with enterprise-wide people strategies.
  • Contribute to the integration of performance, succession, engagement, and development initiatives to create a cohesive employee experience.
  • Use systems thinking to identify intersections and opportunities across the talent ecosystem.

Performance Strategy & Design

  • Support the evolution of Slalom’s performance philosophy — focusing on continuous feedback, adaptive goal setting, and equitable contribution models.
  • Collaborate with key partners and the business to ensure our performance approach supports clarity, accountability, and development for all employees.
  • Contribute to the design and refinement of performance tools, processes, and communications that are scalable and people-centered.

Feedback Culture & Enablement

  • Support initiatives that strengthen Slalom’s feedback culture — making feedback more timely, actionable, and embedded in everyday work.
  • Design and deliver tools and enablement resources that help managers and employees give and receive feedback confidently and constructively.
  • Partner with business leaders to build skills and mindsets that support feedback-rich team environments.

Systems Thinking & Program Execution

  • Lead or contribute to enterprise-wide talent initiatives beyond performance — including succession planning, leadership enablement, and workforce capability mapping.
  • Use data, employee insights, and research to inform iterative improvements to our performance programs.
  • Act as a connector between strategic vision and tactical execution, ensuring performance practices are aligned, adopted, and continually optimized.

Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership

  • Build trusted relationships across Talent, business leaders, and employee resource groups to co-create and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Contribute to change management and communications that build excitement and readiness for new or evolving practices.
  • Provide coaching and thought partnership to people leaders and HR partners on performance-related topics.

What You’ll Bring

  • 7–10+ years of experience in Talent Management, Performance, Organizational Development, or related fields — ideally in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Experience designing and operationalizing talent strategies across the employee lifecycle — including performance, feedback, and career growth and mobility.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
  • A practical, people-first mindset with a passion for making performance conversations more meaningful, equitable, and empowering.
  • Ability to shift between strategic design and operational delivery — adapting solutions to meet both enterprise and local needs.
