Description Expertise and Functions: Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework, including policies, procedures, and controls Identify potential risks across the organization, including internal and external factors, and assess their likelihood and potential impact Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks, including risk avoidance, transfer, reduction, and acceptance Monitor the effectiveness of risk management controls and procedures, and report on risk exposures and trends to senior management Advise leadership on risk exposures and strategic risk mitigation strategies Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate risk management information and build consensus on risk mitigation strategies across the program Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations Prepare and present risk reports to leadership Lead risk incident investigations and root cause analyses Oversee and manage the performance of risk management staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and feedback Participate in program meetings to become familiar with program details, including terminology, points of view, operating constraints, issues and goals Facilitate program meetings as part of the Program Review Board (PRB) Present program information at formal reviews Keep program management team informed regarding current policies and policy documents Other duties as assigned Education/Training: Bachelor's Degree in relevant technical/scientific discipline required Relevant professional certifications (ex.
