Join Us As a Sr. Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee our financial activities and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Essential Functions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
    • Provide accurate and timely financial information to management.
  • General Ledger Management:
    • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts.
    • Post journal entries and ensure accuracy of transactions.
    • Monitor and control the chart of accounts.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
    • Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis.
  • Month-end and Year-end Close:
    • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes.
    • Prepare and review adjusting journal entries.
    • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

  • Financial Analysis:
    • Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
  • Tax Compliance:
    • Assist with tax planning and strategies to minimize tax liabilities.

  • Audit Support:
    • Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
    • Provide necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred.
  • 4 years of Accounting or Finance experience
  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
