We are looking for a skilled Senior Auditor to join our team on a contract basis in Baltimore, Maryland. Responsibilities: • Conduct detailed financial and operational audits to evaluate compliance and identify areas for improvement. • Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans tailored to organizational goals and standards. • Prepare clear and accurate reports summarizing audit findings and recommendations. • Collaborate with stakeholders to address audit issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented. • Perform government audits in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines. • Identify and assess risks within operational and financial processes to enhance controls. • Ensure adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements through thorough evaluations. • Provide actionable insights to improve efficiency and reduce risk across various functions. • Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory changes to maintain audit effectiveness. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing, including financial and operational audits. • Strong knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and audit methodologies. • Proficiency in creating and managing audit plans. • Experience conducting government audits and ensuring regulatory compliance. • Ability to analyze audit findings and provide actionable recommendations. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report preparation and stakeholder engagement. • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
