Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Gabriele & Company, recruiters for manufacturing and supply chain professionals, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with 5+ years of project management surrounding NPI experience for our busy Burlington area client. The client, having a reputation for being employee oriented, produces complex mechanical equipment profitably since the 1950s.

The Sr. Manufacturing Engineer will be process oriented with excellent project management skills/experience and will offer technical expertise and leadership to key NPI projects at the local and other plants as needed.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assist with facility layout and planning
• Process flow analyses, implement improvements to improve overall process and flow efficiencies
• Create process and product work instructions and routings
• Design/implement process plan for electromechanical assembly and testing operations
• Help identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions
• Design/execute ECN for process changes
• Develop training requirements and aids for key processes

You need:

• BS in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• 7+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer
• Experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment
• Technical project management experience including NPI
• Prior experience working with electromechanical assemblies

This position does involve domestic and international travel as needed to support manufacturing transfers and NPI.
