Staff Accountant

Our renowned client, a leader in their industry, seeks a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to join their team. What You’ll Do

As a key member of their Finance team, you’ll play a hands-on role in our monthly close process, financial reporting, and operational analysis. Your responsibilities will include:

• Executing monthly close activities: journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations
• Supporting accruals, reserves, and tax/statutory reporting
• Coordinating with Shared Services to ensure timely billing and accurate financial records
• Collaborating on ad hoc financial analyses and reporting initiatives
• Assisting supply chain and production teams through inventory and cost analysis
• Identifying opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes
• Helping drive process efficiency, data accuracy, and continuous improvement
  
  

What You Bring

We’re seeking someone with a solid foundation in accounting and a drive for operational excellence:

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Accounting preferred)
• Strong grasp of GAAP; IFRS knowledge is a big plus
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics or SAP
• Comfort with data analysis, reconciliations, and root-cause investigation
• Familiarity with percentage-of-completion accounting and/or manufacturing environments is a plus
• CPA or other relevant certifications preferred
• Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills
