Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Tax Manager to oversee our tax compliance and planning efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing tax affairs for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, and real estate investments, as well as proficiency in handling estate, trust, and non-profit tax issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, and non-profit organizations.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
• Conduct thorough tax research to identify opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation for clients.
• Review and supervise the work of junior tax staff, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary financial data for accurate tax reporting and compliance.
• Assist in the development of tax strategies for clients involved in real estate and estate planning activities.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain complex tax issues and provide recommendations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory roles, preferably with a focus on high-net-worth individuals and partnerships.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations pertaining to real estate, estates, trusts, and non-profit organizations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
