Technical Systems Analyst (Remote)

The Technical Systems Analyst will drive system integrations, reporting solutions, and automation initiatives while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Accountabilities

As a Technical Systems Analyst, you will ensure business applications operate efficiently and meet organizational needs:

• Administer, configure, and provide technical support for ERP, HRIS, and other critical business applications
• Develop and maintain dashboards and SQL-based reports, including Power BI visualizations, to support Finance, HR, and IT functions
• Design, implement, and manage integrations between systems using APIs, webhooks, and middleware platforms
• Build scripts or lightweight applications in Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages to automate workflows and data processing
• Map business processes and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and system enhancements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements, test solutions, and train users on system functionality
• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
  
  
  

Requirements

The ideal candidate combines technical proficiency with problem-solving and communication skills:

• Associate's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; progress toward a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience considered
• 3-5 years of experience in technical systems analysis, IT administration, or application support with ERP or enterprise business applications (e.g., Unit4, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, SAP)
• Strong SQL skills for querying, data manipulation, and database reporting
• Experience building visualizations in Power BI or similar tools, including writing DAX expressions
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and data formats such as JSON and XML
• Scripting proficiency in Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar modern languages
• Experience with middleware platforms (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, Zapier) and ticketing/project management tools like Jira, Asana, or ServiceNow
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with initiative to improve processes and systems
• Systems-thinking approach to understand interconnections and drive operational efficiency
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with nonprofit business processes or global development organizations
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps principles, and Microsoft 365, Power Platform, or Azure ecosystems
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform, and Azure Integration Services
