Urgent Care - Lead Advanced Nurse Practitioner (NP)

We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team as a Lead Provider, responsible for providing exceptional care and making a real impact on the lives of our patients within our urgent care clinic. Lead Providers act as clinical leaders for all clinical staff, mentoring and supporting new-grad providers as well as allied healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include providing patient-centered care through health assessments, physical exams, and reviewing medical histories; administering or ordering diagnostic tests and interpreting results; performing therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound management; educating and counseling patients on health and wellness; preparing accurate medical records using EMR; maintaining compliance with company and state regulations; collaborating with healthcare teams for efficient patient treatment and disposition; acting as a clinic leader and mentor; maintaining professional knowledge through education and professional societies; and acting as a preceptor to new staff. Requirements include a Master's degree and NP certification, DEA license without restrictions, BLS certification, clinical experience preferred in emergency medicine, urgent care or ambulatory care, strong leadership and communication skills, compassion, technical proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems, and knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and medical principles.
