We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Advanced Practitioner Provider (APP) to join our team as a Lead Provider, responsible for providing exceptional care and making a real impact on the lives of our patients within our urgent care clinic. Lead Providers act as clinical leaders for all clinical staff, mentoring and supporting new-grad providers as well as allied healthcare professionals. The role is ideal for a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys mentorship, and is passionate about delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities include providing patient-centered care through health assessments, physical exams, and reviewing medical histories; assessing patient health; determining abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests and interpreting results; performing therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound management; educating and counseling patients; preparing accurate medical records using EMR; maintaining compliance with company and state procedures, infection control policies, and legal requirements; collaborating with other providers and healthcare practitioners; acting as a clinic leader and mentor; maintaining professional knowledge through continuing education; and acting as a preceptor to new provider staff. Requirements include a Master's degree and certification as a PA or NP, a DEA license with no restrictions, BLS certification, clinical experience preferred in emergency medicine, urgent care or ambulatory care, strong leadership and communication skills, compassion, technical proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems, and knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, drugs, and patient care principles.
