Worksite Setting: Urgent Care
Scope of Work:
Diagnose and treat non-emergency illnesses and injuries
Perform minor procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting)
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, X-rays, EKGs)
Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
Document visits using electronic medical records (EMR)
Collaborate with clinical support staff
Refer patients to specialists or primary care as needed
Ensure timely, patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting
Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active CT license, Active CT DEA; BC (PA-C (EM) or NP-C (EM) ; Must be trained in Emergency Medicine; ACLS/BLS/PALS/ATLS; Disclose any claims and include NPBD report
