Qualifications
The ideal candidate should hold a current Maryland RT(R) license, demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of urgent care procedures and processes—including a thorough understanding of clinical expectations within the centers—and possess the ability to effectively train clinical team members. Additionally, a strong familiarity with digital x-ray systems and adherence to state-mandated standards and requirements are essential.
Primary Job Duties
Responsible for delivering training on equipment and procedures pertinent to urgent care services. Oversee radiology services, including conducting training related to X-ray procedures, supervising the Limited Scope X-Ray training program, ensuring proper operation of equipment, and enforcing policies and procedures. Additionally, provide oversight and training on services, procedures, and equipment associated with non-provider clinical procedures, processes, and workflows across the centers within the assigned region.
Clinical
Oversite of new hire training and ongoing training for current employees
Manage the quality of work performed by staff via center and chart audits
Provide communication and follow-up to ensure staff are fully informed on all new information related to products and procedures
Ensuring resources are available for all clinics and all procedures are being performed properly
Ensure clinical equipment is used correctly and properly maintained
Work with Director of Training to enhance training programs
Radiology
Work with leadership in development, implementation, and ongoing compliance of radiology services training program per state requirements
Ensure state compliance is met with new center openings (inspections, registration, etc)
Responsible for staff compliance issues related to x-ray
Oversee record keeping regarding x-ray and PACS system
Knowledgeable of federal and state radiography regulations, and manage the renewal process for all x-ray certifications and registrations
Work with x-ray vendor to coordinate equipment repair, periodic maintenance, and supplies; recommend replacement and upgrade cadence for equipment
Oversee/Lead the Limited Scope X-Ray training program
Job Qualifications
Must possess an active RT(R) License in the state of Maryland
Minimum of two years working at an urgent care or outpatient practice, with supervisory and training experience
Experienced clinical knowledge
Knowledge of and ability to use word processing software, spreadsheet software, internet systems, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Strong understanding of PACS and IT related systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possesses a genuine passion for Urgent Care services
Must be willing to travel to other locations within assigned region to assist with audits, training, and setup of new facilities. May require extended stay in remote location for brief period for new acquisitions or start-up facilities.
Hourly Rate or Salary Range: Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Operations Training Manager: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00
