The US Managing Director (MD) is responsible for the overall strategic and operational performance of the US arm of Interrupt Labs, guiding the company towards sustainable growth and profitability. The US MD will provide leadership, ensure alignment with Interrupt Labs’ strategic and operational goals, and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
This role focuses on navigating complex client environments, building influence through critical relationships, linking peers within Interrupt Labs and the clients, and creating structured solutions that solve client problems.
The Role
Strategic leadership
With the other regional MDs, develop and implement Interrupt Labs’ strategic plan to advance its mission and objectives
Oversee Interrupt Labs (US) operations to ensure efficiency, cost effective management of resources and maintain our reputation for quality and impactful delivery of VRED
Evaluate and explore new business opportunities and partnerships
Financial oversight
Oversee the implementation of Interrupt Labs (US) financial strategy, ensuring that US financial targets are met
Ensure the financial health and accountability of the organization through developing new client relationships, work streams and sound management of resources
Prepare, and report on, financial forecasts
Operational management
In coordination with the central operations team, provide oversight and direction in the development and monitoring of Interrupt Labs' US operations
Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies
Implement operational policies and a strategic plan
Team Leadership
Build and lead a high-performing management and research team
Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company
Mentor and develop team members using a supportive and collaborative approach to achieve individual and collective goals
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience as a Managing Director or in a similar executive role
A good knowledge of the Vulnerability Research and Exploit Development space
Experience working within the US government sphere, either directly or indirectly
Hold (or able to hold) a current TS SCI clearance
Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, sales, etc
In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Leadership skills with the ability to delegate, motivate, and inspire team members

This is a remote working role however the successful candidate will need to be based in or around the Washington DC / North Virginia area.
