Navigating in the Curve Editor
- [Instructor] We saw that the Dope Sheet makes it easy to edit keyframes in the time dimension, but the Dope Sheet doesn't allow us to visualize the transitions between keyframes. A Dope Sheet does provide access to numerical values for keys, but to truly see what an animation track is doing in between keys, we need another window called the Curve Editor. I've got a simple animation on this camera, and we can visualize the animation data using the Curve Editor. I'll rewind that. Select the camera. We can open the Curve Editor from the main menu. Under Graph Editors, Track View, Curve Editor, but I prefer to use the button on the main toolbar. It's over here, Curve Editor. Click on that to launch it. By default, the Curve Editor automatically expands and selects the animated tracks of the selected object.
