Set startup options
- [Narrator] To give your database a polished appearance, consider setting some of these startup options. Let's take a look at what's available by going to the File tab and then coming down to Options at the very bottom. On this screen, we'll switch over to the Current Database where we have lots of options to control the file that we're working with. At the very top, we can set a custom application title. This will display instead of the full file path that we see in the standard title here at the very top. I'm going to change this to just say Two Trees. This will also show in the document preview window when hovering your mouse over the icon in the Windows taskbar. Below that, we can also tell access to automatically open up a specific form when the file opens. I'll choose to display my Dashboard when we start it up. If you dislike using the layout view to edit your objects and you want to stick with just the full design tools, then you can completely remove that as an option with…
