- [Instructor] Audio or video that starts playing automatically can really frustrate learners, especially those using screen readers or those who just need a little extra time to navigate through the content. Now the good news is the fix is simple. We just give learners the control over when the media plays. Now for video and audio, a couple different processes, a couple different approaches that you can take. For video, it's actually quite simple. We can select the video on the slide. And then from the options tab up here on the ribbon, we want to change the play video to when clicked or when triggered, difference being that you click the video to play the video or you add your own buttons on the slide, that trigger the video. So either one of these is fine, which means the video's not going to auto play until the learner tells it to play.
