Vision: The ERG dream
All right. Now, let's talk about the next component of a core ideology for your Employee Resource Group. So, we've looked at the mission of an ERG. Now, let's look at the vision of an Employee Resource Group. Now, a mission describes why an ERG exist, but the vision articulates a desired, envisioned future for that employee resource group. It's what you're trying to accomplish. It's what an ERG is trying to become. So, a strong vision statement has the, kind of envisioned future, right? This is what we aspire to. You may not ever get there. It may not be realized, but it kind of gives people something to try to achieve, try to, you know, try to grasp through their ERG activities. A strong vision statement oftentimes will help to elevate member engagement, because when their members try to say, hey, yeah, I'd love for us to get to this level.
