Design a presentation

- [Instructor] You've been asked to design a presentation, but trying to figure out all the bells and whistles in PowerPoint feels so overwhelming that you dread getting started. Sound familiar? Well, you can now design and present with Adobe Express. Let's design a presentation that will include data and encourage people to go outside to reduce stress. So what I did was I went to templates and searched for presentation. I got a lot of options, and I spent some time looking for the right presentation. And what I did was I added it to my favorites. Since I already did this, I'm going to go back to your stuff, go to favorites to find that template. Then I'm going to go to my templates, clicking on view all. And now that I have my presentation template that I liked, I'm going to click on that one and customize this template. Next, what I want to do is I want to start applying the brand kit to each page in the design. I'm going to select Atreaz tour and click on apply brand. I'll do that for each page, and then I'll go back and make some tweaks. So for instance, here, I want to change this background color, add a duo tone effect. I'm going to click on effects. Then I'm going to go into custom, and I'm going to define the shadows and highlights so that way I can customize the color background. Now that I've added some of my copy to the pages, I'm here on this page with some data. But right now what I have with these numbers is really boring. So let's make this more engaging. What we're going to do is go to elements, go to the very top panel and go to charts. I'm going to select some sort of progress donut, but I want to see all the options. Click on view all, and let's select this one. Now it's added a chart to my design, and I can start adjusting the fill color and my value and then adjusting the value to fit that percentage that I had. And now you can see that it's starting to make this a lot better. And I can also change the font. Now that I have my data in, let's add a few more things. I want to add an image back here because I want this to support the Take a Nature Walk. I can add an asset from my stock photo library or I can upload one. Now that I have my image uploaded, I'm going to drag this to the very back so that it falls under this nice torn paper. Then I can remove some of these elements that I don't really need and add a couple more images. And here is what I have. Once I added these images. I just added a crop to these images so that it has a nice little soft rounded corner. And once I finished this page, what I ended up doing was duplicating this page and then going and replacing the copy and the text so that I ended up with something like this. And what I did was that I even added videos to make my presentation more engaging. So to do that, I selected the image, then I went into my media and added that in. And now for the finishing touch, I'm going to add a flyer for our upcoming event. Now typically I would upload this, but instead of shifting through the files, I already did this inside Adobe Express, and I can access this. I'm going to go to your stuff. Then I'm going to go to my project where I know I have my file, and I'm going to scroll to my file that I want to add. Instead of adding it as a page, I'm going to add it as an image. And now I have my image here for my upcoming event that I can share. For the last finishing touches, if you're going to do a presentation and you want to add presenter notes, you can enable that by clicking on the presenter notes in the bottom right corner. You'll see this little window pop up, and I added a little note here for myself. You can make some adjustments in your presenter notes in this bottom area here. But for now, we're going to leave it as is. And if you do want to add transitions, you can also enable some transitions by clicking on page transitions and using one of the ones available. Now we're ready to present. I'm going to click on present, then I'm going to click on presenter mode. This is going to give you two windows. This is my presenter screen, and as I go through the notes, it's going to show me the page on the background, and then I'll see the notes on the pages. I'm going to drag this over to the side and now open in full screen mode. Now I can use my arrow keys to go through the presentation just like I would in any other platform, except it was much easier using Adobe Express.
