Line up batches into short work queues

- If you're working with Kanban, Lean, or any of the top agile frameworks, you're going to want to keep an eye on your work queues. Batches and queues work together to ensure that your team delivers at a predictable pace without getting overloaded. You've already seen that agile teams work with smaller work batches. Many of the agile frameworks have something in place to limit batch sizes. Scrum has product backlog items to make sure that the team isn't working on too much at any one time. Extreme Programming teams work off of user stories. Kanban has cards to limit the work in the system. All of these frameworks force the team to break down the work into the smallest possible batches.
