- [Instructor] In search engine marketing the right keyword can make all the difference. Keyword research is a skill that's important to master although I would say it's transferable. Typically, the skills that you learn in keyword research for SEO also apply to keyword research in Google ads. And that's why I like to use Ahrefs which is typically known as an SEO keyword research tool. There are other tools out there that are just as good. You have SEMrush and then Google also has a keyword volume tool as part of the Google Ads interface. This is the one I prefer using and I think generally what you're looking for is what people are searching. This is a user experience problem that you're trying to solve. You want to find out what words people are using when they're searching for your domain. Which words directionally have more volume which ones are relatively longer tail and what sorts of patterns do you see in the data?…
