Split clip
- [Instructor] There are times when you need to shorten an audio clip. Now, if the clip is short enough, you can simply drag the end back in order to shorten it. So for instance, this sound effect right here. If I only want it under this one panel, I can go to where I want it to end, grab the end of it, and click and drag it back. However, if it's really long and I can't see the end of it, like this clip here. I don't see where the end is, but maybe I only want it under this one panel here. So what I can do there is put my time cursor right where I need it, I can right click, Split Clip at Current Frame. Or with my cursor where I need it, I can go to Clips, Split Clip at Current Frame. You can see it cut it. It gives me two different clips. I can just select the one I want to get rid of, and hit delete. I'm going to Control+Z just to bring it back for me.
