Calculate each country’s global CO₂ share
- [Instructor] In this video, we'll calculate each country's share of global energy CO2 emissions, a critical KPI for understanding the international responsibility and negotiation dynamics. Open a new worksheet or go to the worksheet 3.6. Unlike absolute emissions, this metric reveals related contribution: how much a country adds to the world total. To build this, we'll use the fixed function again, step by step, to first calculate the global totals by year. Click the similar rows, click on the Create calculated field. Okay, you can find the formula from the title. Double click. I will copy the first one and paste here. And then rename the field. This expression fixed the scope at the year level, ensuring we calculate the same global total across all countries for that year. Click Okay. Alright, you can find a field from here. Let's create a folder again. Right click on it. You can find the folder. Okay. Click Create folder. We will name it "2 Energy CO2 Share." Alright. You can find…
