- [Instructor] Welcome to after effect weekly with me, Aaron Stern. In this episode, I'll show you how to create long motion trails, hanging and drifting from anything that moves across the screen. The first example that we're going to use is based on this skateboarder clip, courtesy of pond five provided by IC snaps and by the way, these clip is a free clip so you can download it from pond five.com and follow along if you liked to. All right, I'll pause the playback, I'll close this final comp and let's start with this original version. So the first thing here is to separate this skateboarder from the background. Now, since this is almost a steel background, I may be able to pull it off using a different math effect. So to achieve this, I'll select this clip, and then I'll duplicate another instance by pressing command or control T. I'll switch off the visibility for the upper one, I named the lower one BG.…
