Built-in agile tools in Project Online
There are built-in agile tools when you use Project Online Desktop Client, which comes with a subscription to Project Online Plan 3 or Plan 5. How do you know if you have the right software? Head to the File tab and then click Account. On the right side, you'll see the label, Product Information. Underneath, you should see Subscription Product and then Microsoft Project Online Desktop Client. Remember, you have to be using Project Online, not the on-premise project server. These agile tools support Scrum and Kanban. For example, if you go to the File tab and click New, on the new screen, you'll see this icon to create a sprints project. When you click that, Project opens a blank project to the Sprints Planning Board View. Also, the ribbon displays the Sprints tab, and in this case, the Task Board Format tab.
