- [Instructor] Artificial intelligence, and especially generative artificial intelligence is a tool that has the potential to revolutionize the field of finance, but let's take a look at what it can do right now. So, I'm going to use ChatGPT. My experience is that of the major AI tools, ChatGPT tends to have the fewest problems and the best output. Reasonable minds might differ on that, that's just my personal view. In theory, you should be able to get the same result from any AI tool that you use though. So, what I've done is I've collected some data in Excel, and let's pull that up, and we've got data here on annual returns for the S&P 500, 3-month Treasury Bills, Treasury Bonds, BAA Corporate Bonds, Real Estate, and Gold from 1928 through 2022. Now, of course, this is annual data, it's not high-frequency data, and so we wouldn't necessarily be using annual data in algorithmic trading format, but that's not really the point.
