- [Narrator] Investing and trading stocks or really any financial assets is a practical rather than a theoretical exercise. So let's take a look at what some real-world data and figures look like and what you can actually access when you're involved in the investing world. So I've pulled up the E-Trade website for Microsoft Corporation, right? We see Microsoft stock right here. Now E-Trade was bought by Morgan Stanley recently and they're just one of many different brokerage platforms out there. So fundamentally there's nothing exceptional about E-Trade or unique, I should say, about E-Trade compared to competitors in terms of the information they're offering. In a nutshell, all brokerage firms, Fidelity, E-Trade, Ameritrade, Schwab, any of the big groups, they're going to offer kind of the same fundamental data and information on any individual stock. So the key then is how do we use the information that is available…
