Cloud-native vs. third-party CSPM solutions
- [Instructor] Cloud-native cloud security posture management solutions are built and integrated directly into the cloud service provider's infrastructure. They're designed to provide seamless native security capability for resources and service within a specific cloud environment. Examples of cloud-native CSPM solutions include, AWS Security Hub, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Google Cloud Security Command Center. Third-party cloud security Posture management solutions are provided by independent vendors. These solutions are not provided by the cloud service provider themselves, but rather by specialized security companies. Third-party cloud security posture management solutions are compelling if your organization operates in a multi-cloud environment or has other requirements that a cloud-native cloud security posture management solution cannot support.
