Struggling to set boundaries is common in the workplace because you want to perform to the best of your abilities, but the inability to set and stick to boundaries can also cause you to burn out and lose your creative juices. Time is precious, and as an introvert, the way you spend your time affects your energy. In this lesson, I will discuss how to protect your time, manage your energy, and establish healthy workplace communication and boundaries. To begin, you need self-awareness. Self-awareness allows you to see when you are overextending yourself and not leaving the time you need for yourself. First, you need to learn how to avoid a social hangover by focusing on quality interactions. You can do this by following the 80-20 rule or the Pareto Principle, which is more than a century-old theory that states, for many outcomes, roughly 80% of consequences come from 20% of causes.
