- [Instructor] If you're like me, you use your Android phone for banking, interaction on social media, and sharing photos. This information is private, and like me, you probably want to keep your device's details about yourself private as well. Open the Settings app. Choose the Privacy item. Permission manager. Here is a list of device features and which apps are allowed to access them. Camera. These apps have asked for and been granted permission to use the camera app. Swipe down and you see apps that have been denied. They asked, but when prompted, I chose no. To change a setting, you choose an app. Your choices are to allow only when using the app, to prompt every time the app requests to use the feature, or just don't allow. You can deny access, but be aware that the app may ask again the next time it's opened. The Location item is another important privacy setting. These apps can access location services at any…
