- [Instructor] Unlike a computer, you don't need to do file management on your Android, but if you must access its files, use the Files app. It's available from the app's drawer. Choose Files. This app is more of an organizer than a nerdy file manager. Downloads shows files that I've downloaded to this device, and Images are the raw images as saved on the device. Other items are categorized here. Use this app for quick and easy access to the Android's files. It may concern you as to how much storage the files occupy. To check on this statistic, open the Settings app, choose Storage. On Samsung devices, search for Storage. On the top of the screen here, you see useful storage statistics, total storage and storage used which is 34 gigabytes out of 64 total on this phone, and you see other categories for usage. Check out Video. If you download a video for offline viewing, this item here reflects the increased storage used.…
