- Just like projects get kicked off, they also have to be closed. Your goal is to deliver a stellar product or result and get the customer to formally accept your deliverables. This process should go like clockwork. The key word here is clockwork. Just as a well-oiled clock produces consistent results with little, if any, variation, so does AI. Closing is a standard process that involves things like resolving outstanding action items, ensuring legal obligations are met, and obtaining appropriate sign-offs. Any time there's a consistent way of doing things, AI can add immediate value. For example, a project usually entails doing many closes as you go along, for example, after each project phase, rather than one big close at the end. This way, deliverables can be accepted and closed on a regular basis, as opposed to waiting until all of the work is completed.
